1. PICTURES 2. CHARADES 3. SCENES
All 3 options are extremely limited in the scope of vocabulary you can clearly and specifically introduce and practice. Visual aids exist for nouns and only the most easily depicted emotions, adjectives and verbs. Our library includes intuitive, symbolic representations for ALL parts of speech, even the most esoteric of concepts and will significantly increase the usefulness and effectiveness of any textbooks or tools you are currently using.

A word about PHOTOGRAPHS vs. DRAWINGS
It's interesting to note that with a photograph, a myriad of possible thoughts flood our minds. Thoughts like: "What a cute dog." or "Hey, that looks like my neighbor's dog." or even "We have a brown chair just like that one at home." Our brain tries to relate the photograph to circumstances in our lives. Your comprehension is split among a variety of processes.
Drawings are far more effective because the brain instantly and almost solely thinks of the task at hand - an interpretation like "Dog with a bone." or "Dog eating a bone." The task at hand has the brain's full attention.
